In the name of God Amen I John Brownly the older of Dunham in ye County of Nottingham being weak in body but in ..... mind & memory do make & ordain this my last will & testament in manner & form following first I bequeath my Sole into ye hands of almighty God proposing thro' mortality & modiesfion of Jesus Christ to .... a full absolution of all my asking and as for ye worldly goods ................. I give & bequeath of followeth I give & bequeath to my Son William one shilling in full for his share & part of all my estate ... & ... I give unto my Son John the Sum of four pounds for his share & part I also give unto my Son Robt ye Sum of one shilling ... I give & bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth the Sum of Five pounds and Lastly I confer unto & put my wife & my Son George Joint Executors of this my Last will & Testament hearby revoking all other wills by me ...... made or done In witness whereof I have unto set my hand & seal ye twenty fourth day of august 1716.
